Don’t Know Where to Start?

Don’t worry let me help you get to the right decision.

If you’re looking for a photographer or in fact any other vendor here area couple things you may not have considered.

Wedding details and shoes and ring

Step one - The Easy part

This one is really easy. First step is knowing the date of your event! Once you have your date in mind keep that handy. It is one of the first questions I ask.

Step Two - The research

The next step is thinking about what vendors you would like help produce your event! Have you considered an event coordinator, florist, baker, DJ & Lighting, and last but not least a photographer? Be sure to check out their websites (Like you are doing just now!) and ask yourself do they fit my style or aesthetic you’re going for? If the answer is yes be sure to reach out and ask about your date!

STep Three - Our first phone call

Once you send a message regarding your date and event we schedule a phone call. During the phone call I ask a couple of questions such as where you are getting ready, where the ceremony will be, and where the reception will be held.

This is also the perfect time for me to get to you know you better and find out what you value the most about your photographs. I want you to help you find the right photographer!

This phone call typically last about 30 mins usually no longer than an hour.

Step Four - The engagement

The engagement session is a great time to get a little practice in front of the camera. Generally speaking it’s up to 2 locations of your choice and up to 2 hours. These places can be where you proposed, at home, or even up in the mountains (my personal favorite place). I do have a suggestion of a few place if you are interested or need suggestions. The photos are perfect for invitations or even print a canvas or wall art to decorate your wedding. Just like that you’ll be left smiling with amazing photos.

Step five - The timeline talkthrough

This is one of the more important phone calls! Before this phone call though I’ll send you a link to my blog for you to pin some images for inspirations. Keep in mind that the Pinterest board isn’t a menu but you’ll take a minute to find out what you love about the photos so I can keep that in mind for the wedding. This is also the time where I help you with the timeline. Yup! You heard that right I’ll help you with the timeline. We’ll sit down for a short phone call to go over a timeline this way we can assure that you have enough time for your photos. From getting details in the morning, to getting ready, to the couple session and more. I’ll also go over on what can go wrong. Don’t worry though typically it’s finding time for photos but this is why we have the call!

Step Six - Time for celebration

This is where the fun begins! We capture the celebration from start to finish. You can expect photos from getting ready till open dancing at the end of the night! Remember though, take a deep breathe and be in the moment! Laughter and smiles are the goal of the day not only because it makes for great photos but it’ll keep you at ease. You may be a little nervous but having shot several hundred hours of weddings the day will go by in a blink of an eye!

step seven - Smiling again

First you’ll get a few teasers the week after your wedding. It’ll take sometime to edit them but it’ll be worth the wait! You’ll be able to relive your wedding day via an online gallery you. You can also share the gallery if you’d like with a separate link if you wish. This is also the perfect time to order any wall art that you maybe interested in getting for your home or for family. It’s an easy process I could help you with as well so you can make the right decision for art!
